Most modern EVs deliver their maximum torque instantly, without delay, without shifting. On a short stretch of straight road between two bends in the Eifel, you feel exactly what that means. The car surges forward with a directness that surpasses any internal combustion sports car at that moment.

And then the corners. Electric cars have a low center of gravity due to the battery packs in the floor. The result: stability and grip that surprises drivers time and again.

The honest answer: with a little preparation, this is not a problem. At Tour Electric, the route is always planned so that you are never without charging options. We start with a minimum of 90% charge level, stop during lunch at a fast charger of 150kW or more, and drive at the end of the day comfortably on reserve to the afterparty.

Our participants, from Tesla Model S Plaid to Porsche Taycan to Lotus Emeya, drive all day without worries. The GPX route everyone receives is fully adapted to the charging infrastructure along the way.
